The griffon – half-lion, half eagle – is the symbol of guardianship and protection.
The griffon mythology is the inspiration for Griffon Partners: Guarding, and protecting our clients through the placement of talented leaders and emerging leaders to significantly impact profitability, efficiency and competitiveness.
Our proprietary search process, innovated by the founder of Griffon Partners and backed by years of practical experience, is a business model that puts the client at the center. It is what guides us as we work and is reflected in everything we do. Beginning with learning and understanding our client’s business from their perspective including their objectives and unique needs then; focusing our projects on only identifying true top performers for them, produces the right leaders in the right roles at the right times.
Accordingly, our process engages the client and the candidate as follows:
- Maximum focus. We work only with a small select group of clients at any given time. By not working horizontally across a market we do not dilute our capability to serve.
- Point of view. Once hired, we begin by putting ourselves in the shoes of the client’s executive management. In essence, our firm becomes an extension of their organization, working in their best interest.
- Search. We then execute a vigorous search plan that’s been tailored to each specific client. The plan is a combination of a tested proprietary method, unmatched entrepreneurial enthusiasm AND integrity.
- Assessment. We only recommend those leaders and emerging leaders we feel rank in the top 20% of their peer group. We will not recommend someone we wouldn’t hire ourselves.
- Placement. During the search process we give only direct, honest and objective feedback to both client and candidate. Setting and meeting expectations is paramount for both parties.
- Integration. After the candidate is placed we follow up. We work with both client and candidate to ensure assimilation into the client’s culture and that expectations on both sides are met.
